The East Shore Facilities Society (ESFS) is no longer managing The Fitness Place (the Crawford Bay Fitness Centre), the three community offices/meeting-rooms and The Family Place. School District 8 had taken over management of The Family Place; please contact their office for booking inquiries. The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) has taken over operation of The Fitness Place and the three community offices/meeting-rooms. Fitness Place memberships & the booking/rental of office/meeting-rooms are now moving to the RDCK.
• Membership sales through the ESFS website and by e-transfer are no longer available as of December 12.
• From December 12 to January 12, 2026, memberships will be temporarily unavailable to purchase while the RDCK completes the transition to its online registration system. More information will follow in the coming weeks.
• Starting January 12, 2026, all memberships will be available to purchase online only through the RDCK’s online system
• Memberships that expire after January 12 will be carried over into the RDCK system with the same expiry date.
